By accessing and using digdns.io and its services, including but not limited to DNS lookup tools, WHOIS lookup, DMARC checker, SSL checker, "What is My IP" application, and other network diagnostic tools (collectively, the "Services"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting.
2. Description of Services
DigDNS provides a suite of free network and DNS diagnostic tools, including:
- DNS lookup and propagation checking
- WHOIS domain and IP lookup
- DMARC, DKIM, and SPF record checking and generation
- SSL certificate checking and expiration reminders
- IP geolocation and "What is My IP" service
- Network tools (ping, traceroute, host info)
- Blacklist checking
- Subdomain scanning
These Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
3. Use of Services
3.1 Permitted Use
You may use our Services for:
- Legitimate network diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Domain and DNS management
- Security analysis and monitoring
- Educational and research purposes
3.2 Prohibited Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks

4. Rate Limiting and Fair Use
While we strive to provide free access to our Services, we reserve the right to implement rate limiting to ensure fair usage and system stability. Excessive use that may impact service availability for other users may result in temporary or permanent restrictions.

- IP geolocation data is approximate and may not be 100% accurate
- SSL certificate information is based on current certificate data
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information
You should verify critical information independently before making decisions based on our Services.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are owned by DigDNS or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without our prior written consent.
7. Third-Party Services and Data
Our Services may use or display information from third-party sources, including:
- DNS records from authoritative name servers
- WHOIS data from registry databases
- IP geolocation data from IP2Location databases
- SSL certificate information from certificate authorities
We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data. Use of third-party data is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
